This Scania 114 belonging to H.R.P. Livestock Logistics paid a visit up to Hawes Auction Mart in September 2012.
After loading with Gimmer Lambs , ( Go-Go Girls ) , theyd be off to Pastures New` in Pembrokeshire, South Wales.

" Logistics" , an awful word , is now creeping into the Livestock Haulage fraternity . :frowning:

Cheers, cattle wagon man.

Hi Roy,

I’m thinking about signwriting my wheelbarrow with the legend, “Horticultural Logistics”

hiya,
You could also fabricate a detachable headboard ( anybody remember them)
to fix to your shopping trolley bearing the legend “Food Shopping Logistics”
thanks harry, long retired.

I remember Wincanton changing from “Distribution” to “Logistics”. Cost a fortune and nosey directors would report one that hadn’t been altered when they were jollying up and down t’country. If I saw one that wasn’t on Maltby fleet I used to bugger it off to another depot, being an observant, hard working, salt of the earth shunter.

Hi lads,

Hello again South Wales and Andrew, after a bloody disastrous loss of picture collection, now partially recovered, back in business picking up pieces, with some more from around the Chepstow area, apologies if I repeat previous postings, what was never a good file system is now completely buggered.
Cheers
Oily

another old haulier billy belt

another old one o j williams st claires the f12 was brand new here

As the 2013 show season is very nearly upon us it’s time for me to give our Belgian friends some numbers.so the easiest way is to post it on here.first weekend in July, ship out of dover on Friday morning, meet up with the boys on turbo Terry’s interlakken trip at tournai on Friday night, ready for a jovial weekend at the 2013 lar truckmeeting at reekem Belgium.anyone up for it let me know, cut off date is end of February.

After seeing Billy Belt’s MAN with a B+I trailer - here’s another B+I subbie - Pembroke Transport. For the life of me I can’t remember which thread I got this off or who’s it is - apologies if anyone recognises it - I’m not passing it off as my own tho  I recall these wagons well, from Pembroke (dur) and based just over the river from the castle IIRC. I don’t remember Watkins (in the background) at all but I think they were from Kilgetty way.
