here is one from my home town,porthcawl and the seafront was having some work carried out during the 80’s :sunglasses: .the esplanade hotel was demolished in 2003 and replaced with apartments known locally as “the bottle bank” :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

I remember this Foden well. We were running duff from the old Lewis Merther Collery to Newport dock.Doug Cox,s was the driver he pulled on the weight bridge and was over 40 ton, there were about 17 of us booked for being over weight including me in the old scammell I was over 35 ton
