Instead of trucking anthems, what songs make you want to rip the radio out, squash a cyclist or not let someone out at a junction?
For me (in no order) it’s
That Sarah Bareilles song about being “brave” (used in crap phone adverts)
That sickening John Legend song where he sings “all of you” in a way like he’s being raped by a rhino.
“Happy” by Pharell Williams. Makes me anything but bloody happy when I hear it. 
I can’t stand anything sung by the Sing Something Simple Singers. We used to subjected to that Tuneless Diarrhoea by my parents, on the way home from my Nans on a Sunday evening back in the 60’s. I can’t switch it off quick enough, Grrrr.

Or Jeremy Vine. I like Ken the Bruce, but as soon as I hear JV I switch straight off. Can’t stand listening to someone’s cog clicking. It’s like he’s analyzing everything he wants to say before, and while he says it, in case of mistakes, upsetting someone or causing a legal problem. Ends up sounding scared, confused and annoyingly unsure of himself.

Radio gets switched off and i listen to my iPod most days.
Like Nathan I despise that “Happy” song and turn the radio off when it’s on. I also hate that one by Mars “pump up the volume” as I consider that record to be the cause of the death of music.
Dead or Alive (dead, preferably) - “you spin me right round”. WTF is that all about. That balloon-lipped freak makes me cringe. On the subject of spinning round, come the revolution, pretty boy…

Yes, I agree. I’ve been a fan of Simon Mayo for years, but I don’t know what he’s thinking with that one.
