When the 400 expired it got a 10L put in for shunting ,I know the one previous owner .
£8,900 and 3 days to go …
What is the value in this? Is it the engine for breaking and export? It looks a smart thing ex turner’s I’m guessing but i was surprised by the price it has reached.

The attraction is the 400 and it’s a sleeper cab by some who’d restore it .

Cf the N14 didn’t come out until years later in the next model .
I know somebody who took a punt, and put his ERF 250 ■■■■■■■ 14 litre (yeh they did come as a 250 at that time) V reg in an auction in the 80s and sold it as a 290E…with no (expected) comeback! 
He was a.bit hard up at the time, but it does not excuse his dodginess…it wasn’t me guv , honest. 
It went for export anyway, so some Arab won’t have had the performance he expected.

).tried it at first at Rothwell Leeds,.and it came back, but a one off auction at Carlisle put it through, this Paddy was buying ■■■■■■■ and Gardeners in bulk, so it got through the net.
If that’s making £9000 I wonder what mines worth ?

That’s the advantage of an earlier reg truck fitted with a later motor and box no type approval issues. 
It’s basically the same 14 litre motor size wise so it should fit after the L10 has been weighed in for scrap.Same applies to the 18 speed Fuller not much different to a 13 speed.If only I had the cash to do the job and could then run it.
