They let a junior young member of staff take all the flack and would have had him sent to jail! It’s well known in Wales what really happened. The scum (for letting someone else take the blame whilst you go back to your million pound house and land) should never be able to run a car boot stall let alone a transport company. The kids will just be puppets and everyone knows this. I have nothing against the kids and wish them the best. But they shouldn’t be a front to keep these rats in business.
However they will be back in business and the operators licence will be handed out. They support the farming industry in west Wales and South Wales. And it will be political. They also employ over 300 people in a poor area with few jobs. I’ll give £500 to a charity of my choice if it isn’t rubber stamped and hushed up.
Fun fact - they had to draft in vosa from outside of Wales to investigate them… Not the only haulage company allegedly being protected. Those in Wales will know that certain names get away with stuff. If stobarts did 10% of what the local boys did they would be closed down faster than mark drakeford closes the economy.
Someone says a bloke on here and their dad work or worked for them. They probably won’t say much as in that area it’s a code of silence but they did far more than simply fiddling a bit of paperwork. About as honest and ethical as Nolan’s who have taken over John Raymond’s. a sad state of affairs.
