Also, the X Reg F7 and the Foden parked togehter remind me of a Topblock plant round Cheadle way, I cant recall the name though!

hiya sepo , that pic of tba was taken when i had it , i always strapped the back deck like that on short(ish) trips . what a motor , there was nothing round our way that could live with it , even eric’s g reg . i was sad to leave joe’s , but when he altered the pay scheme i lost 40 quid the first week and jacked on the friday . cheers , dave

2 tons of London Bricks hand balled out of railway trucks at Dudley Railway Station Northumberland early 50s The owner & driver was my late great uncle Tommy Boiston from Fisher Lane Seaton Burn, Regards Larry.
Another great uncle of mines fleet, Isacc Smiles of Smiles for Miles in the 30s, Loaded with bricks from Newburn Brick Yard, Regards Larry.
Our Roadtrain loaded at Uddingston, Hauling for W.McGovern Ltd, brick merchants from Felling on Tyne, Regards Larry.

Here’s a brick lorry I had to recover today after it developed a transmission fault on the A14, oh the joy of Volvo I shift, still it gives the recovery lorry a run out, and I had to wait while the driver transhipped the bricks onto another lorry
