You are sat in a lay-by for 11hours, but only 5 minutes from your depot??
Why not just drive to the depot and be 5 mins over… hardly crime of the century.

The other day you were on about powder coating on someone else’s truck. If you’ve got money to throw down the drain like that then why don’t you just stop tramping, take the pay cut and go in days? Cuts out all this nonsense about parking in lay-bys then because your going home…every night…including Friday night.

I’m 5 mins from rugby , in layby by garage at top of hill , and yes I will get paid night out money as its not my depot , if you did work for stobarts you would know that that it only applies to parking in your depot , and then you can pull out yard and park in first layby and you will be paid
I parked at Appleton last week , Carlisle , Stoke and were paid night out money for all those , the only time I’m not paid night out money is if I park at my depot and go home , but if planner plans me into my own depot & I go home I get paid .
would all these drivers park at Appleton , rugby if they wernt paid 
as for only 5 mins away , it’s possibly less , r/o down to r/ truck stop , but after getting done by DVsa , up your way nigh on daily I want my card clean

as you worked for stobarts you’d know a5 down to rugby , layby just down from garage , mins away but like was said to me in Carlisle magistrates court don’t come back again , so maybe mins away but I have to have a clean card so have to stop

Food I’ll live with , just frustrating being mins from a depot , years ago I’d of got there whatever , but fine , court , caution and warned of future conduct I can’t do anything but 100% legal , would days be any different , I know plenty pulling there hair out on that .
thought I’d get out with porters job but didn’t get it
as for money , I earnt more on days p.a than I do tramping , yes I did a extra shift but was home every night

after going to court , warned of future conduct , caution from t/ c I have to do everything by book , whether it’s 2 mins / 5 mins , £776 fine was bad enough I don’t want anymore , should of just gone into Corley srvs for night , rugby in morn , but thought I could make it but stop / start after Corley through r/ works zb it , frustrating , but been at rugby for 1 3/4 hrs waiting for a tri so may have just gone into Corley , but thought getting to rugby would of made Friday easier , but if I thought last night was frustrating , staring at a fence for nigh on 2 hrs waiting for a tri to come in is real frustration

the only stupid thing I did was not go into Corley , if you mean I should of just drove the 5 mins there , yes I had that when I got done , loads on about how they’d drive x amount of times with there card out and not got done , yes but they’d not got stopped . the same applies now , I’d just drive the zb 5 mins , not when you’d already paid a hefty

I applied for as a porter at hospital but didn’t get it , I’m now assessing my options , but in the mean time t/ net I’ve found is a good pressure valve for your frustrations
