So glad i got a dashcam

driving along the other day heading in to bournemouth in my car i was doing 70mph down the a338 coming up to the blackwater junction i moved over to the outside lane and this prat in a mini joined the a338 then he just pulled in front of me making me hit my brakes other wise i would have rear ended him
so i flashed him to call him a ■■■■ he then brake tested me 3 times then when i moved into lane 1 he started swerving in front of me making me brae hard again so i followed him as my kids were screaming and my daughter who is 7 had a big red mark where the seat belt caught her on the neck (by this time i wanted to batter him )

he ended up going to the police station to report me but when he got there he tryed to drive away but as i was making so much noise 3 coppers come over to find out what was going on he denied everything untill he got shown my dashcam (it was off ) he then fessed up to the police and when i left they were doing him for driving without due care and attention

Cool story bro.

Cool story bro.

cheers grandad

“so glad I got a dashcam”…you were so glad that you didn’t bother to turn it on!

Yup, lets see.

Um, Blackwater junction, A338, Bournemouth driving standards - sounds like another regular day…

With idiots that are out there these days i’ve just treated myself to a full 1080p HD dash cam and im very impressed with the quality of it. For 110 quid I think it will prove to be money well spent.

BigBear.

Nice bluff. Take it down!

best way to sum up that road im going down that road later :frowning:

Nice bluff if you get away with it,what happens when the cops investigating ask for a copy of the footage as either evidence or unused material,if he pleads. He might be offered the DIS scheme however if you have managed to put it over to the cops well, one of them might just think, hey,we will do this guy as we dont often get the opportunity to have video evidence then when you disclose that you didnt have it on,well the rest will speak for itself.
I have had a Roadhawk fitted for the past three years and now have the new HD one and although it is not hard wired through the ignition it is permenantly pluged in so when ignition comes on camera comes on.
Hope it goes allright but dont blame the cops if the CPS pull the plug on it.

That Blackwater jn southbound slip is notorious, so many accidents there, it’s so short you’d be lucky to get a dining table on it.

i told the copper that the battery was flat before he went over to the other person

the other driver only confessed as the other half showed him the camera so he thought it was recording him

at no time did i say it was on camera to the police

HOW MUCH?!?!
I just checked the website. £270 or thereabouts!!

chris_g:

So, let me get this right, the police are charging someone on just hearsay for dangerous driving?

Sounds to me they’ve fixed penned him based on his confession, not hearsay.

must work for stobarts :unamused:

Why on earth does that mean I must work for Stobbarts ?
I just think it was a good story. I have and never would work for Stobbarts, for a start off I live the other side of the Atlantic ocean
Does liking a story like this make a person a good candidate for such a company ?
Do you even know what you are talking about ?

I would like to point out that several of my good friends work for Stobbarts and I hold nothing against them for that
