If only you’d follow your own advice that would make me very happy, same for your sidekick(s).

Wow, didn’t you say you’d be staying away until bigvern was banned? I know, you just couldn’t stay away from him, saddo.

I thought he was banned or had finally decided to do the right thing and ■■■■ off for good as I hadn’t noticed any recent posts from him. Clearly I was wrong. Shouldn’t be an issue though as he has said here that he won’t be engaging me and in another thread has said that he will be ignoring me, both of suit me down to the ground. I expect, however, that he is once again ‘all talk and no action’ as he has proved time and time again that he’s like a fly 'round [zb] : can’t keep away; just like you.
Take it to PM’s
the rest of us dont want or need to have your fallings out displayed for all
or here is a hint use the friend/Foe feature that this software provides and you will never trouble each other again, either way get it of this forum, its not wanted and will no longer be tolerated…
and before I get PM’s or e-amails saying he said or he said that, guess what , I am not interested in the blame game … either all grow up, , use another forum , or just stop coming here… I obviously hope you choose the first , but the 2nd and 3rd option work for me as well

Breaks
7.–(1) No mobile worker shall work for more than six hours without a break.
(2) Where a mobile worker’s working time exceeds six hours but does not exceed nine hours,
the worker shall be entitled to a break lasting at least 30 minutes and interrupting that time.
(3) Where a mobile worker’s working time exceeds nine hours, the worker shall be entitled to a
break lasting at least 45 minutes and interrupting that period.
(4) Each break may be made up of separate periods of not less than 15 minutes each…
(5) An employer shall take all reasonable steps, in keeping with the need to protect the health
and safety of the mobile worker, to ensure that the limits specified above are complied with in the
case of each mobile worker employed by him.Hope this helps
I don’t see the point in the above, you need to take a break of 45mins before or after 4.5 hrs driving anyway, infact you would need to take a total of 90mins if doing a 10 hr stint
as per the tacho regs, no need for this (zb) as well, i for one will not acknowledge it ,
Unless it is of a financial benefit to me to do so

The point is, as mentioned previously, not everyone drives 4.5 hours in a working day
So it’s 30 mins. but can be in 15 minute bits and the last of these can be the last 15 minutes of your 9 hr work period eh?
Have a look here Rest breaks at work: Overview - GOV.UK
Are these bits are wrong then?
Rest breaks - a break during your working day
As an adult worker (over 18), you will normally have the right to a 20 minute rest break if you are expected to work more than six hours at a stretch.
The requirements are:
the break must be in one block
it cannot be taken off one end of the working day - it must be somewhere in the middle
you are allowed to spend it away from the place on your employer’s premises where you work
your employer can say when the break must be taken, as long as it meets these conditions
Give em a ring and tell them how wrong they are…

Don’t ring them up, you would end up looking a bit silly.
That’s the WTD for regular folk, not us. We work to a different one with different break requirements.
No extra break for longer work period for them but there is for us. Different daily rest requirements, ours doesn’t specify them because they are taken from the tacho regs. Different weekly rest requirements for them, ours again come from the tacho rules. They can opt out of their version, we can’t.

You give em a ring, record it and post it, so we can all have a laugh, don’t forget to tell them your a mobile worker though.
I had a supervisor quote this bollox after he’d been googling, the pillock had a hard copy of GV262 sat on the shelf behind him.
