Here I am sitting in my truck, got a light anyone…
Well fuse I’ve ‘rolled my own’ for well over 30yrs and don’t intend to stop now
A one hander might turn out to be a bit baggy but it is always smokeable and as the old saying goes practice make’s perfect and ‘touch wood’ I’ve never been caught or photographed in the act of rolling my ciggie even when during the long days/nights in my driving career I’ve been to known to work my way through one & half ounces of baccy, so that is one hell of a lot of one hand rollin
Down to half ounce a day at the moment though

I think it’s just become one of those “pub” sort of threads and I imagine it is going to bimble around in its own way now tbh.

just incase you want to know the fines
What are the penalties and fines for breaking the smokefree law?
If you don’t comply with the smokefree law, you will be committing a criminal offence. The fixed penalty notices and maximum fine for each offence are:Smoking in smokefree premises or work vehicles: a fixed penalty notice of £50 (reduced to £30 if paid in 15 days) imposed on the person smoking. Or a maximum fine of £200 if prosecuted and convicted by a court.
Failure to display no-smoking signs: a fixed penalty notice of £200 (reduced to £150 if paid in 15 days) imposed on whoever manages or occupies the smokefree premises or vehicle. Or a maximum fine of £1000 if prosecuted and convicted by a court.
Failing to prevent smoking in a smokefree place: a maximum fine of £2500 imposed on whoever manages or controls the smokefree premises or vehicle if prosecuted and convicted by a court. There is no fixed penalty notice for this offence.

I don’t understand this.
You stopped a truck on the hard shoulder of a motorway to chat to a photographer?
And you’ve got a gold RoSPA certificate?
No I was on break and He was walking about out side so I went round and had a chat

I didn’t add anything at all.
With all due respect, you appear to be deranged.

What a hilarious thread
One of our lads was seen on the other side of a motor way recently by a gaffa from head office and when he rang the driver the driver asked how he knew it was him to which the gaffa replied “I saw the truck with a big cloud of smoke coming out the drivers side window” I know for a fact that the supervisor and his mate at another depot of ours followed a fellow driver and took pics of him smoking and sacked him for it
One of them even bragged about it when he came up to see us so we have to be careful what we do in our lorries as you never know if these ■■■■ heads are lurking somewhere
