I am allowed to smoke in my cab, and what’s more I have a letter from Swale Borough Council’s Chief Environmental Health Officer confirming that I am allowed to smoke in my cab, so you go ahead and take as many photos of me as you want.
Alternatively, you might consider “getting a life”.
I have my photo taken plenty of times by the old dears on the m6 normally between 3 and 8 i just give them a smile there face’s are a picture themselves. ha ha

We had a guy like you at my last job he would run around reporting everyone for smoking in the cab funny thing was there was two drivers that did not smoke but he did not want to take there trucks as they were full of crap food left in cab and everything.
Never did find out why he did not return to work after only 5 days. 
Ha ha no one reports where i work and those agy that do get told go home. But we do clean the trucks its just some agy see some stray ash and then kick off. Amaizing how only a few years ago people just got on with it now its totally different. How the worlds changed!!! Give me a eaton twin split anyday just for a day lol see how some of these new fandangled drivers cope!!!
Anyway, one of our drivers, Keith, is dyslexic.
So a few years ago he went to the Winter Olympics. He met a bloke in his hotel, and he said “What do you do?” So the bloke said “I’m a tobogganist”
“Great!” said Keith. “I’ll have twenty Benson and Hedges”.

i doubt it, legislation didn’t come into effect until july 07
Im a non smoker my-self ,but would like to be able to get along with who ever I work with.If a driver smokes in the cab so what ,lots of smokers say that it helps to relieve stress.When I worked in a bakery I had words with the dirty b… who would use cake tins as ash trays.Driving a motor is not the same as preparing other peoples food so there is scope for different rules.
I think the essential point to grasp is that “steverospa” was never going to endear himself to anybody by coming on here and saying “I am going to photograph you and report you to the authorities with a view to getting you fined or sacked”. Cos that’s Stalinism.
But then anyone who signs himself off as “Steve (non-smoker)” is obviously a power-happy monomaniac control-freak from the word “Go”.
Look Steve, I can’t stop smoking, just like you can’t learn spelling. We all have our weaknesses. I can understand you not wanting me to smoke in your workplace. But in my cab, which you never set foot in and which is my home?
And you think that sitting in a classroom for a week and being given two bits of paper as a reward makes you more qualified to comment on driving a truck than people who have been doing it all their lives?

First things first I don’t like people who grass or snitch, whatever you want to call it. Like everyone else I see those that are perhaps doing things they hadn’t ought to be and I’m not talking about smoking. My view is that it’s their licence, job etc and it’s their lookout.
But is it just me or is this turning into an attack on dyslexia.
I thought the moderators might have had something to say, like when everyone started gypsy bashing (although I note that one has joined in). Maybe it’s not so close to home this time!

i don’t think this has owt’ to do with spelling and pronunctuations my friend,if you read the “majority” of replies you’ll find they refer to “photography” and “grassing” etc…not much time for them sorts on here i’ll think you’ll find…although you may find one or two in “total agreement” with your comments…a.smoker p.s. better luck with future postings

As a member of Rospa Gold driver and Rider they are trying to stop smoking when driving because of safty not the smokers heath, the outher road users

The last time I read the above. there was not a rule on grammer & spelling, in fact, I don’t think I saw a rule that says a member has to ‘make sense’ - I’m glad of that as most of my posts would be banned
There is, however, some advice somewhere on attacking the post and not the poster 
There isn’t ROG and may it forever stay that way.
Quite simply, he rode in to tell us that he was going to take photographs of us smoking and send them to the Council, not something which is normally considered to be part of a truck driver’s duties.
And we just like to have fun with people like that. But I don’t make ad hominem attacks and wouldn’t dream of calling someone a numty.

I personally don’t like the idea of anyone taking pics of me and reporting me to the authorities. I do not like dyslexics. I love gypsies.
You may think you are good when you smoke and drive but I worked with a chap who could roll his own then light and smoke all without stopping …beet that
