Last Thursday night there was an underground fire in Farringdon Road and the market and surrounding area was in darkness till about 5 am…some electrical cables got damaged so there was no lights, chillers etc working for ages…hence i didnt get tipped till 7 and couldnt get out the place till 8.30…you know what its like with all them poxy vans parked up everywhere mate…nightmare…i heard that Banhams took all thier chicken back to Norfolk :open_mouth:

The best bit about it is all the emergency generators for the market are situated…

wait for it…

behind an electric door :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

I havent posted any pics for a while so heres a few from the Market overthe last few weeks

That Nesbitt unit has some bark off it when fully lit lol… Irish doing the groupage in there, It ever busy with VOSA about there or they not around much?

Found these lurking in the depths of my computer Mat

And heres a few that I found from the so called good old days on the market

We go into Smithfield with chickens 3 or 4 loads a week, the chickens are easy work, 1 hit and your in and out in 45 mins. Done the hanging meat once for cloburn and it was an eye opener, good experience tho…

The pic of the Nesbitt truck was taken at Avonmouth not Smithfield…as for VOSA i have never seen them on there but they do get on sometimes according to other drivers…the black cab drivers do seem to get quite a few checks from the Hackney Carriage office enforcers though

great pics blissy keep em comin

your motor is well nice mate.

cheers
