It amazes me that supposedly clued up blokes on here do not even know the most simple rules.
If you head is within 17 inches of a cab locker, than you must get a parking voucher from Starbucks. Drivers who have a pair of blue lamps are definately iron hoofs and it is illegal to wear a tie while driving.
No one is allowed to sleep in a layby unless your granny shagged the editor of Beano
made i larf.
we have a 2 car isuzu 7.5 tonner,we use as a runabout/spare.it has a hatcher sleeper cab,you know the type, above the cab roof.the boss asked me to use it for a couple of days whilst mine was off the road.
unfortunatley, due to eating too many pies, and having great success at avoiding the salad shop,i couldnt fit through the roof hatch to access sleeping area.
note to hatcher…please make fatty mc butterpants size holes for us salad dodgers!!!
This is fun, what a lot of different urban myths .I was told that I couldn’t take my FM over the water because of it only having a standard cab
when i questioned this no one was a 100% on the legals. I was also told that a hi top was needed if the cab was double manned in europe but I still see the europeans double manned in standard height cabs, ALL URBAN MYTHS I AM SURE.
fuse:
Coffeholic is this what you are waiting for ,I think sleepers should be ban… and night outs spent in 3 star hotels
I already do nights out in a 3 star hotels, Nah! Nah! Well sometimes I have to slum it in 2 star accommodation, but we are getting ready for the new law which requires drivers to have access to a bar and decent resturant.

No chance of that if you do nights out in the UK then !
anyone doing 4 nights out or more must have either a magnum megaspace superspacecab xl xxl topline. engine size can be no less than 500 bhp and it must be equipped with fridge coffeemaker microwave full autobox leather seats etc.oh and if your doing europe then your boss must buy you a scania longline or if your away more than a week he must provide a caravan twin axle 20ft minimum for you to tow behind your trailer.
why oh why do folks still beleive this tosh it makes me wonder actually how many members of this forum are drivers.
