Eight hours, more or less. Even if that means being in bed by eight pm. People who think they do well on four, five hours are kidding themselves.

Then I will consider my self kidded! Should have known some one telling me I am doing it wrong and only their way is right.

Get a grip mate, you need 8 thats all you need to say, the pop was pointless less maybe you are goin to post a list of your medical qualifications.

So, if four or five hours is what some people “think” is all they need then same people will wake fully rested after five hours even on non-working days? Doubtful.

Most of the time yes

If I have worked a fri night shift then dont go to bed till sat night although do sleep a bit longer the 4-5 hr sometimes on a sun have about 2 hr sleep the rest just dosing not sure why

I would be as useful as a chocolate fire guard… :grimacing:

Men :unamused:

Most weeks I get up Thursday afternoon (like now actually), do Thursday night shift, then a short afternoon shift friday, before bed friday night around 10pm, makes a long shift and can be a slog towards the end, but it helps me get back into sleeping nights for the weekend.
