Yes i can remember the husband and wife team the mag was going to follow the progress of them and the motor,
i can remember them complaining about how uncomfortable the seat was so merc fitted a new seat for them.
think they came from the hull area, like you say was a looooooooong time ago.

And wasnt they complaing about bad fuel figures was in the low 6"s if i remember right, yes they was from the hull area. it was a 2448 i think

it did go well but stopping it was another thing i remember having the brake pedal to the floor and not a lot happening and the bed bieng a bit on the narrow side but it was a good motor though
i can remember my dad having a few of these SK’s before having Actros, he worked for Coulling Brothers out Lenham Kent be great to see some pictures if anyone has any■■?

Here you are driverjoe. One of Coullings Mercs, this one was parked outside the drivers house in Borden near Sittingbourne. Maybe your dad knew him.
