Well, last week, I received a NIP for doing 46 in a 60 SC. the speed will now be dropping back to 40! Any suicidal maniacs want to over take me? Crack on…I couldn’t give a ■■■■ anymore!
Throw it in the bin, that seems very harsh a mere 6mph over. How were you caught?

Standard Gatso! Apparently the strength of the returned beam determines the size of the vehicle and the camera flashes accordingly!
we’re damned if we do and we’re damned if we don’t. personally i used to rush everywhere. if i could overtake a car i would, but now i’ve got a car with a fair bit of poke, so i’ve got the power to overtake if i can be arsed to .
couple of week’s back i was going up the 17 (sleaford-newark) just doing a steady 50 keeping pace with a hgv and car’s about a 1/8mile in front of me. (which i didn’t mind). but what i did mind was the prick in the 60plate globetrotter xl that was tailgating me for the best part of 10miles, i tried every trick in the book, slamming on the anckors to flashing the hazard’s to put him off. in the end i pulled off at brant broughton to visit the site where my dad’s truck crashed 3yrs ago. where to be honest, if he’d stopped he’d know exactly how i felt about his driving i’d also point out exactly where his truck left the road and where he hit the tree.
but instead of stopping, he just carried on harrising other traffic once he caught up with them as he was sat on the limiter.
once he passed i understood why he was an ■■■■■■■■ driver. folwerwelch.
about 1/2 hrs later i caught up with him on the a1. ■■■■■■

Just got a NIP today, dated feb. 17th For doing 46 on the A1175 @ Deeping By- Pass, Deeping Common.
Looking at my tacho chart and recalling the road, I would say that I was just coming back in from overtaking a tractor!
Bang to rights…First offence for driving ever!
I can go on a speed awareness course though…But the rub is, I called them and explained that I have done 50 MPH in a 40, to alleviate the suicidal and to see if it was actually safer to do 50…It was, the woman on the phone laughed and said that it was safer for everyone She agreed with me, but the camera has me, so I have to go through with all the crap.
