see you at cannock then.
Nice motor, bit too much bling for my liking, but each to their own, like the lockers and bed and passenger seat though.
didnt know they rolled them out in europe yet, i used to drive one in oz, hadnt got the swivel passenger seat and had a longer wheelbase, but was a lovely truck to drive and to live in, im 6’2 and not problem standing up in it to get dressed etc, simple step from seat to bed, really miss that truck actually
■■■■■■■ shed!!
Can just imagine being stuck with that clown in a driver’s room…‘but my bed is 200mm bigger than all the others…’ zzZZZZzzzzZZZZ

Chuffing hell, and drivers sometimes wonder why the boss won’t invest in new kit.
Bloke obviously values his staff and driver is rightly proud of his new truck, what’s the problem?
Gibson’s wagons are always clean and tidy, so his staff obviously look after them, so it would imply he is OK to work for…it’s hardly like there are not many driving jobs around Goole.
Corgi have just announced that they are releasing a 1:50 scale model of this truck. I think its this one

They’ve been in Norway for a while. If I remember correctly the Norwegian government won a hard fought for dispensation to allow Norwegian operators to run into the EU with them pulling 13.6 trailers. Could just see trying to explain that to some jumped up Gendarmerie though that’s trying to extract some cash.
Went out for a pint and some food with one of their drivers in Banbury awhile back he seemed happy enough, didn’t have all that bling on it though as he said his boss would order the light bars and get them fitted but the driver paid for half of the cost to do it.
They have a very tidy looking fleet.
Simon always puts top bar and 6 lights on,anything else ya want he will sort it for ya and let u pay weekly or wheneva but he always let’s u off so much cos believes in it makin his motors look better so attracts more work…He is a good bloke to work for will do anythin for ya,but expects plenty of hard graft in return like any decent boss really.I’m no longer employed by gibbo for my own reasons but wud advise anyone in the area to give him a go if looking for work, you won’t find a much better boss.
