No one from the Shropshire area will be surprised by this. Nasty little man.
I’m curious…
Interesting it notes his charity work. There are firms around here that sponsor tat like fetes and carnivals and have classic vehicles for shows, are known for being the worst employers.

That’s between you and your wife mate.
Not surprised used to work in Solihull making vac tankers, always seemed shady when he came in,got banned off site in the end.
Amazes me that Cowboys like that can find anyone to work for them. It’s not like there’s a shortage of jobs, and Telford is hardly out in the sticks

Corporate image. Hides many sins.
Who you on about? I grew up in Bridgnorth and started my driving ‘career’ in Telford.
Can’t read or write lol
Plenty of time to learn now
Bet he only serves 3 months in an open prison, very low risk of penetration in them places. Bloody holiday camps.
One driver worked from 4.30am to 8.30pm , ■■■■■■■■■■■ me that was only half a shift back in the day.
Different times.

Usual thing. The dying swan act in court. The only thing he’s sorry for - he got found out!
This is something I’ve thought of before;
If an operator like the one in question misbehaves and has his O licence curtailed, is it unfair dismissal if an innocent driver loses his job?
Obviously any driver with an inkling that sanctions are coming would leave at the earliest opportunity, as ■■■■ sticks whether he’s involved or not.
Wtf is all this ‘FORCING’ drivers to work long hours ■■■■■■■■.
Have these drivers never heard that famous 4 word phrase ‘‘Go and ■■■■ yourself’’

Ok Orangeboy don’t rub it in just because you are more polite than me
Bang on DD, boys hours. When I were a lad…

Plus that, back in them days there was no cab heaters, no power steering and the “bed” was a plank between the seats, the clutch was so heavy it needed two feet to depress it and the gearbox was an eaton twin splitter (whatever the hell that is). Lunch consisted of some fifth wheel grease smeared on two pieces of bread and if you did less than 800 miles a day you were considered “part time” (Even stopping for lunch meant you ran the risk of being labelled “a pansy”)

Nah, it was never as easy as that.

In the days of log books, fodens and “cross-cut gears”. Was getting a lift of a driver to another depot and he started ranting about how easy the job is now. He said “I bet you’ve never even seen an ERF”, and I said “Yes I have, there’s still some about. Good deal of tippers are Foden’s too.” It quietened him down a bit
Nice bloke though.
