I am led to believe that HMP Altcourse has good showering facilities.

most of the cheapo hotels have them which is likely to be your option of accommodation as your truck will most likely be ,burgled,nicked ,burntout,when your doing your aquaman impersonation as the swimming baths.id say the same option to hmp

In fairness when my dad was on the docks he was a single parent and we where the best dressed kids in the street in the 70’s, even though we got our clothes ten months before that style of clothes got to the shops, we looked like two urchin weirdos like some thing out of Blakes Seven

Hi Thanks for the reply. I went there last time i was staying over and it cost almost £6
Didn’t know if they had a truckstop.
No nothing yet, though there is a plan for a truckstop on Dunningsbridge Road near the Park Hotel, but thats only a plan at the moment.
You could run up the M58 to Skelmersdale truckstop, pricey for an overnight £23 I think with voucher but very very clean and showers and good food, worth the 25/30 minute drive

No I bloody well aint, besides I had a shower in July so not time for another yet !!
