It’s an Audi ..
I didn’t go overboard, .. its a A5 TDI ‘S’ line..
But she saw it, she liked it, so that was ok.
Economical, ok on insurance, so double whammy..wife happy and cheap to run
What are Audi like for parts? BMW here are known as break my wallet.
You’re spoiling her.
A bit of advice from a totally domesticated, henpecked, old man:-
Treat 'em mean, keep ’ em keen.
Audi’s ??
My eldest lad (gods gift to Volvo Truck & Bus) has just bought an SQ5 Quattro.
The b loody thing is lethal. I’ve been passenger in it once, I won’t be doing a repeat.
Aye maybe when I was 20 and ‘Jack the lad’ playing the field…
Anyhoo my Mrs deserves to be spoiled.
You don’t know my Mrs, if I did that she’d be sure as hell using that Audi to speed off to get away from me.
My sister has one and she’s 58 years old, it’s a magnet for picking up younger men
She’s a cougar
The XC90 T8 Inscription Pro is my current motor but i’m a bit dubious about it.I’ve had no problems whatsoever with it (kiss of death) but i’m worried if the ERAD or batteries pack up.Its a 2020 and coming up to 40000 miles.I bought the S60 D5 last year as a non runner but it started so i did a few jobs on it and gave it a polish and sold it on.It was brilliant on fuel. I must be very boring i’ve had 20 Volvos and one 320 CLK which i struggled to get in and out of so i sold it to the landlord of my local .He’s still got it
Recently ethnically cleansed. When I’m PM I will allow one boat per month in purely in order to staff the hand car washes.
Get the ‘ASH’ bit on yer plate…
But what does the ‘‘BJ’’ stand for I’m wondering?
My two favourite things of course ; me and BJ’s
Giving or receiving ?
Play your cards right……
The Jaaaag has been in for its MOT today, apart from advisories on tyres which are getting replaced next week anyway and rear brake pads which are getting replaced during the service, it had a clean bill of health. Very happy with that, I’ve owned the car for 12 months and only had to put fuel in it.
Btw before anybody casts any ‘nasturtiums’ what the ‘W’ stands for…No it doesn’t rhyme with ‘banker’
It’s me surname.
Just thought I’d beat ya to it.
With an ego like mine a privste reg is a must.
Don’t know what you mean w
Pennies.
My Jaguar is 21 years old (I bought it new in 2004) I’ve just been getting bodyshop quotes for new rear wheel arches ( I’ve got 2 genuine galvanised repair panels))
Lowest quote £2500, highest ? £2900
Aye, well they can stick that up their flue, I’ll run the wheels off the car. It’s great car (S Type), mechanically in Grade A condition, always passes annual MOT, over the years it’s toured all over Western Europe.
Domestic facilities manageress and myself are both in our mid 80’s, the car is worth about 2p on the open market but to us it’s worth the £33k we paid for it BUT, I’m not paying nearly £3000 for a cosmetic repair
I don’t have that problem with my bodywork, it’s aluminium, the chassis and axles are a different matter.
