It’s not about the value of the car it’s the cost to replace it like with like.
I’ve never been keen on diesels but the Ingenium 6 is an exception which proves the rule.I would happily have one in a Disco or an F Pace.
You should try the F Pace or Range Rover SVR both an absolute riot to drive.Although anything without a proper manual box just seems off to me.The F Pace SVR with a 6 speed manual would be great.
I was thinking of buying a white Porsche 911 from a dentist, we went for a test drive bought I never purchased it.

Mrs GOM has voluntarily stopped driving now (she’s 85) but she used to love lighting the turbos up.

As of Monday I’m having a fleet change , Ford Cmax work hack is going (as is its gear box) being replaced with an 2011 Škoda Octavia estate 1.6tdi 1 owner

I’m still driving my 2010 Mazda2 that I bought s/hand in 2012: it’s no rocket but it’s dead reliable (like Mazdas generally), doesn’t cost much to run (~40mpg/ 7l/ 100km) and passes every annual inspection. I can’t find a photo of it (old hard-drive premature death) but you can see the front of it in this:

Finally run in , the noise when you rev it to 16,000 , screams , doesn’t sound very Mechanically sympathetic, but good fun

Feeling pleased with myself, I scored a lot of ‘Rob points’ today, bought this for my lovely Mrs.
She said she was sick of running round in a People carrier, …so I thought this fits her image a bit better.
And she looks good in it.…the black enhances her blonde locks
God she’s a lucky lass having me.
