I think the All Agro brake must win this thread
bugcos:
Love the Yugo Toowise
not one of my best buys to be honest, gearstick was like a stick in a paste bucket , doors would only shut with a good slam , hatchback door wouldnt shut and was held with a bungee,
on the plus side it only cost me £30 (yeah i was robbed) with 6 month MOT and tax !!!
ran it till it dropped and got £40 for it at McGuinness’ (local scrap dealer)

I’ve had a fair few cars in my time, but the absolute worst one has to be the ■■■■■■ Montego. What a pile of ZB
Tell me about it. When I was based in Catterick, we had them as police cars!!
suffolk gold:
My worst car was the 3rd one I had, Vauxhall Chevette leaked like a sieve around the front window ,even with new seal.carpets stunk rotten then the wings and sills rusted like horseshoes. Then anti roll bar fell off after trade in.Last VauxhallI owned.
When I was based in Aldershot, we had an estate one of these in shocking lime green!! complete with blue lights and sirens. It was a punishment car that you had to drive if you pranged one of the Cavaliers!!
My own worse car was a K reg(72) Vauxhall Viva in gold. The brakes went as I approached a set of lights of red. The pedal went through the floor, a double decker bus went one side and an artic went the other. Me and my mate couldn’t believe we’d lived to tell the tale. I didn’t bother getting it fixed, I scrapped the hunk of junk
citroen bx cheap insurance pushed the dam thing more than i drove it what a pile of junk looked like like a nuclear dumping ground outside our house with all that green slime from that dam pain in the backside god awful under the dam thing again suspension
This was probably one of the best value cars Ive owned, £300 6 months tax and test 3 litre 24 valve auto, went like stink, 30 to the gallon if you went steady, never spent a penny on it, sold it 6 months later for £200, and kept the private plate of it, (not the one in the picture)
Im saying nothing on the red piece of crap in the driveway though
If I remember rightly, the RAF Police used to drive these as well as the RMP units round Dusseldorf
My worst was a 1978 Austin Princess!!
Supposed to have been white but the rusty bits made it look morebrown!!

My dad had the successor to that an Austin Ambassador (crap cars must run (or not as the case may be) in our family)
Rubbish to drive but the back seat wasnt half comfy when i put it into the front of my series 2 Landy.
Just had to be the Enzo Farrari the bloody thing had no where for my overnight bag, on a Saturday morning you could not get a Super Single in the boot and you try to shag a bird in it. What a pile.■■
Ive had and loved most of the cars you ve all hated marina tc crused at 90 mph and still gave 40 to the gallon, BX 200 miles a day didnt miss a beat, FSO 125 (polish fiat 125) never let me down but one valve was gap’ed at bout 8th of an inch. worst car Austin 3ltr (nuf said) . Most of my cars have cost under £500 so Im just happy if they start.

Ah the suzuki SJ what a cracking tool to start an off roading hobby off in, get you into and most of the time out of anywhere, I had a Jish reg one i think it was got loadsa lucky strike livery over it, I “thought” I looked the mutts nuts in it, worst car I’ve owned was probably a j reg bedford rascal, I bought it coz since I was about 3 i’d always thought they looked cool, needless to say I owned it for about 3 months before it was dispensed of, that was another drunken ebay purchase!
