Nah, a few places do but they weren’t JAUPT accredited. Am planning to do ADR later in the year, that counts towards DCPC

In all seriousness, I will put trucks on the road, just not now, the time isn’t right. One day we will start coming out of recession and that is when I’ll go for it. Everyone I know who has made big money in transport has done it during the upturn, I wouldn’t be able to break even at the moment and I’m doing this as a business idea, not a vanity project…
I don’t know when this will be, but if you are still looking for work then, I would certainly talk to you about it. As I have said many times on here before, I would have a policy of only taking on newly qualified drivers, so I could train them to do the job as I wanted it done (and I was only joking about the fuse and the wire ).
The guy I am working for now, George, has a young lad working for him, he only passed the test in November and he is already doing runs to France and Holland, and should be doing a trip to Sweden next month. He absolutely adores George and is the most loyal employee imaginable. I said to George “I like him, he reminds me of me at his age”…
