Yes, I sat all four modules, the three National and the one International. I passed the three modules required for the National CPC but failed the International module.
Because of the changes to O licencing which came in this year, it was essential to pass the National. Had I failed any one of the National modules, I would have needed to re-take the new CPC course at a cost of another £1300. Because of that, I focussed all of my revision on the National.
As it is, all I have to pay is the exam fee of about £50 or somesuch, the International module being the only module which can be re-taken to obtain a full National and International CPC.
I will be re-sitting the exam on March 2nd 2012, and spend my lonely evenings in cold and rainy Belgian lay-bys reading and re-reading the coursework. 
Apparentley you get this certificate when you drive for tesco,

Is that something you can keep forever without using it or do you have to be seen to be using your qualification?
You will walk the international on its own. I did mine 3 months later and it made it much easier doing it that way although I know it was circumstances that forced you to do it that way
