On Tuesday I have a job London to Cardiff. Just checked the net £17.40 to cross the bridge but blue badge holders cross for free.
Now my mate who has the big C sometimes comes out with me for something to do and he is a blue badge holder so would I get away not paying if he comes along?
yep.
Yep…
UK and EUROPEAN Disabled Badge Holders Procedure
UK and European Personal Blue Badge Holders eligible for an exempt crossing will be required to attend a manned toll booth and hand their UK/European Blue Disabled Persons Badge to the Toll Collector. The Toll Collector will check the presence in the vehicle of the the Badge Holder and the validity of the badge; the badge will be scanned and returned. The barrier will then be raised to allow the journey to continue.

Severn Bridge (M48 England — Wales) and Second Severn Crossing (M4 England - Wales)
UK & EU Blue Badge holders are exempt from toll charges.
When you arrive at a manned toll booth, hand your Blue Badge to the toll collector. The toll collector will check the validity of the badge and that the badge holder is in the vehicle. They will also record the badge details. The badge holder will then be asked to sign a form. If they are unable to sign, the driver can sign on their behalf. The badge will be returned and the barrier raised.

No, why should we?
It’s all wrong, having to pay to go into Wales but not to come into England. Should be the other way round.

Why should we have to pay anything, they should be grateful that we go there.

Are the people at the bridge trying to tell the welsh something, when they let them out of wales for free, but charge em to get back in? Go into wales via the M50, and come out via the bridge then you have paid nothing

I don’t have to pay because I don’t use the bridges, so I get to visit it for free.
