I say serves him right. Too many bikers ride like this thinking they’re invincable!
I was in the outside lane on a duel carriageway in an artic overtaking some slower cars when i could see a motorbike coming up behind at a great rate of spead. I thought to myself i better move over & let him past. I checked my mirrors indicated & was just about to move back over to the left lane when the biker came screaming past on the left. I could of killed him!! Any biker who rides like a [zb] deserves to die like a [zb]…Rant over.
And I was using a number plate I made myself out of toilet rolls and sticky back plastic.
The only people i feel sorry for are the innocent parties involved who will have to remember this for the rest of their lives.
says the bloke who won’t drive without a plate on the trailer. Your opinion isn’t worth ■■■■ round here mate. Especially when you talk like that. Just shows you up to be a 2 faced jobsworth.
All you care about is No.1
Ironic seeing as you’re a No.2

dont mention the number plate FFS its late and he wont sleep for worry
You are right though Smoker about his opinion.
Dont really think he would be such a internet hero if he met the blokes family .
Funny old site when you can bad mouth a person killed in a accident and get away with it but bad mouth a company and the mods start flapping .
I am a biker, I have seen this posted on a couple of biker websites, it is interesting how the different members see it.
In my opinion he was an accident waiting to happen, he was the architect of his own demise.
There was no planning or anticipation of other road users at any moment from what I can see, and as any biker will know, you have to be so aware of the car drivers, as they are usually full blown idiots, truck drivers in my experience are usually better because they know how to use mirrors.
In my opinion if car drivers were more educated and the road systems of this country were planned and designed for every user, the roads would be a much safer place to be, I say this from the perspective of a biker and a truck driver.
I would love to find out which dept. is ultimately responsible for the planning and design of roads in this country, as from my own experience they are doing a truly poor, sub-standard job that we as taxpayers are funding…It would be nice to see some psychological input, not just engineering.
Yep, you cant really blame the car driver for that. Whether he did check his mirrors, is almost irrelevant because I’d say the moment he would have checked them before his maneuver the bike would have been to far back to see.
He was overtaking at 100mph through crowded traffic. Afraid he was a dead man riding so to speak.
Oh & according to my physics at 100mph I reckon the bike at say 200kg , would hit you with the same energy as a small car going 45mph. So it could quite easily kill some poor sod(s) coming the other way.

you are having a laugh!!!
There are as many BAD truck drivers as there are bad car/bike/van drivers.
Yes, they can use mirrors, but it doesn’t stop them from pulling out to overtake something, causing the following vehicles (who are not speeding) to slam on the anchors.
Not to mention, speeding/overtaking on solid white lines/tailgating etc etc.
I also say this from the perspective of a biker and a truck driver (and a full blown idiot car driver).
I think the car driver and the motorcyclist both showed extremly bad driving skills.
The motorcyclist being most at fault for sheer recklessness, absolutly no hazard perception awareness. Driving on the edge the way he was doing there is usually a bad outcome when something goes wrong.
But the car driver why was he overtaking anyway, he was overtaking into the path of on coming vehicles, ok you can argue the van was way over to his left handside so there was plenty of room, but what about some other car driver behind the van edges out bang head on collision.
To much of that mentalist must get to the front of the Q mentality amoungst all types of driver, driving a truck like prob everyone else its incredible the amount of suicidal driving that takes place on the road to get one car ahead. I think congratulations you have manged to overtake one car now your gonna get to work or home about 30secs faster, why not keep on taking dangerous risks and maybe even get home a good 5mins earlier if you get home at all.
Even though prob get hammered for saying this, the guy driving the bike with the camera, he was howling it at dangerous speeds, but at least he seemed to recognise the hazards ahead, he did slow down at junctions where there is a good chance someone may pull into his lane, he was much more aware of what was going on around him. I ain’t saying his driving was safe or sensisble but if your going to do 170mph on a public road prob a good way to do it.
Ok i admit my first post was very harsh but i had had a bad day at work. At the end of the day noone deserves to die but too many people act like this on the roads. Sorry to anyone offended by my first post.
I totaly asked for the nasty comments from other members ( you know who you are)
