Hiya, hey lads, anyone would think I’m gonna emigrate or something…all I wanted to do was to get to page 200 and then perhaps once a week I’d put some old pics on…I know that a lot of you look foward to seeing the stuff I put up but I dont have a bottomless pit of pictures…well old ones anyway. There must be loads of you with lorry pictures and the scrapbook is the perfect place for them to be shown as there is no theme,so come on put them on here…I’m sure they would be well recieved.
Dont think I’m not grateful for the kind remarks since the thread began but there has been many many people who have shared their memories so they deserve more credit than me…my good pal Phil(Numbum) has shared his collection also and I hope he will put some more shots on the scrapbook.
Ok heres a few more pics
Marc,
Loved the old Scania pic’s, they must have been chucked out from B+W motors at some point. Some rare shots of the 6x2 models the LBS 76, all the locations for the shots was on our test route !
p.s. congrats on reaching page 200. brilliant effort !

C.mon Guys, 200 pages with 408327 views. Do you think we will make it to 500000 views, hope we are all around long enough
I am sure 500,000 is not out of our way. I have opened it from the beginning a couple of times and still stare goggle eyed at the content. It is absolutely amazing that we can look back on all this heritage and history. I doubt blokes in 50 years will not be raving over plain curtainsiders and computer graphic wrapping.
hiya,
Have viewed every post and every pic lots of them more than once and just hope there is many more in the offing could’nt do without my daily fix.
thanks harry long retired.
Well done Bubbs, great thread although I only joined a few months back; Whilst rummaging in loft for long forgotten baby toys and books I’ve come across some old Truck (inc T&D) from early 90s. If I get a printer/scanner at the weekkend I’ll post some bits from them if anyone’s interested-off the top of my head things like gvw for 8wheelers going upto 32t and a feature on davella when they were changing from 3600 Dafs to Leyland daf 95s…
Hi boys
Congrats Marc 200 well done please don’t stop there. In the past you’ve posted a couple of our old trucks in previous ownership that we weren’t aware of thus adding to our history knowledge and for that we are very grateful.
Please keep them coming.
Marcus, you are the most viewed contributor on this site and you really help to keep us old reprobates out of trouble so it is possible we could return to our former ways if you stop posting,
