I thought i recognised it… I used to do shop deliveries about 25 years ago, 1st drop on a Monday morning was a shop on Baxtergate Whitby, from there up to Marske by the sea, My fully loaded Ford D series used to crawl up that hill, lovely scenery to look at though…

hi bubbs, wonder if anyone knows the make of this motor, used to load sand like this, it was for plaster’s when doing pebble dash, had to load by hand shovel, in case of contamination from machine loading, took 2 hrs to load 10 ton, first 2 pints at night never touched the side’s this site seem to get better with each posting keep up the good work bubbs, bumper

This is a 1934 Scania-Vabis, this actual vehicle I think is in the Scania Museum in Sodertalje Sweden.
