More beauties Bubbs, especially the 3 James Hemphill motors - excellent thanks as usual

Anyone any idea where the photo of the Horace Kendrick Foden was taken please?

i’d say 99% walsall power station,as their yard which is still there in green lane was only a couple of hundred yards from the power station.which is now a sainsbury’s superstore

LA was Norwich, based on Hall Rd. It was the only depot code that I knew and it looks like the photo was taken at Norwich cattle market. Regards Haddy.

It always looked like they had forgotten to fit the Clayton Dewandre handbrake valve, clutch reservoir and Eaton two speed axle button and it was almost an afterthought. The axle button certainly, it was fastened on with a Jubilee clip.

Lonewolf Yorks:
Fascinating that, we had enough trouble in Italy, let alone Saudi.

Its a great thread many thanks, and a Happy 2010 to it and everyone else too!

I’m interested in this. Anyone know where it was taken? I’m guessing York

Its at York must be about 78 as it went from NMU to Rowntrees about 1979

Thats coming from the back yard towards the front just short of the weighbridge
Old Chris Wardley at the side now he were a lad

Re.The Dodge 6 wheeler, did Dodge ever finish off the cab interior?

Thats what you got, it may well have been the deluxe version too, that handbrake valve was razor sharp !

About '74 they brought out this “De - Luxe” cab but it was only thin plastic coverings as you can see.
