Hello again, nice shot of the Scammell Molepower…I hope somebody saves herCheers Bubbs,
i think she’s somebodys ‘oneday’ project although i think she’s in pretty good company as she’s owned by a scammell enthusiast
even has an ex- leyland / MIRA test unit complete with roll bar & sports one of the first leyland factory fitted lift axle
bubbleman:
Some old Yanks today.Hope these are ok.
Cheers Bubbs,
Some crackers as ever Marcus, thanks! Dunno if anyone else is the same but I’ve pretty much zero interest in Yank motors from the US, but find UK/European examples fascinating
Hi Marc,
I remember Gammond having an International Harvester six wheeler back in the mid 50’s when I was a kid,it was the first American lorry that I had seen apart from the ex army GMC’s and Chev’s etc.
Cheers Dave.
Hi again, great pics from Tankerian and Molepower, real pleased the old Scammell is safe.
More old Yanks. I’m the same as jj72,American trucks in the US do nothing for me but over here wearing an english livery, then that’ll do for me.
Look at the price of derv as the K/W passes Leigh Delamere services M4…
Cheers Bubbs,
Nice to see the H.H.Williams Mack again Bubbleman. Also a good shot of the low loader carrying the Fiat Allis tractor. Big Fiat Allis dozers are a rare sight these days.

This Austrian built Stery 19S31 6x2 tractor unit Reg No J840 CNW was originally supplied new in 1991 to Brieley & Sons International of Brighouse by local Steyr agents Premier Commercials of Ossett West Yorkshire.
Fitted with an Eaton twin-splitter gearbox, lifting rear axle and high top sleeper cab it was purchased second hand by Ken Harvey who ran it for a number of years.
More of Ken Harveys fleet can be found here in the Ken Harvey gallery on the Northwest Trucks web site
Regards Paul
