Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but weren’t those Dennisons made in Ireland?
Dennis (Bewick), iirc Sisu were specialist vehicle builders but used other manafactureres cabs eg, Steyr and Renault.
Regards to all Paul

I doubt anyone would have complained if it had a V8 or was pumping out 700 neddies
The comment about the French homebuilt trucks reminded me of Loheac again
Thanks to Forum Auto for posting this to the web. 387 pages of old French oddities.

Dreva may have an old truck magazine with the article about Antoine Loheac
I thought the early SISU cabs were motor panels like the ftf. As for the Dennison cab wel its looks like a coalbunker didnt they do something like that with a Spanish Dodge
Mornig Ken
Morning Phill You OK
Hi again,
.You lot thought this was a Dennison.
When this came rumbling along the M4 I thought “got to get this one”…well as Moo Moo said it was a home made truck cobbled together in Burridges workshops, yes it has a Dennison cab but the chassis is from a Spanish Dodge and a ■■■■■■■ engine rammed into it,so with a bit of inginuity and a bit of imagination it came out well.Really surprised that no one else noticed it was a one off…wonder if its still in Burridges graveyard.
Ok…another bunch of welsh motors.
Hope these are ok.
Cheers Bubbs,
Hi Bubbs,
Your photos are great,-- keep them coming.
They make me feel I’m back on the road again.
My lorry days sadly ended 13 years ago,due to having a stroke- - I was only 50 then. I am now enjoying my retirement.
Many thanks - Hywel

Hiya Paul you could,of course, be correct and my memory isn’t what it once was but when Dennisons attempted to enter the heavy end of the vehicle market over 30 years ago I am certain they did so as “assemblers” of propietery components and it definitely sticks in my mind about the cabs being Finnish. They didn’t produce any of the components “in house” as far as I was aware nor did they produce many vehicles either at the end of the day.Someone will put us straight I’ve no doubt!Cheers Dennis.
