Nice picture that Jim. I think all LVs motors have the Silver Knight badge. A really nice looking traditional fleet. ( in my opinion ).
Is Len Valser still going? I thought I saw somewhere that he had packed it in.
Posted these on one of Bewicks threads earlier this year. There was quite a big write up in the Heritage Commercial Mag in june 2008 about Len Vasler on how he got started in transport through to owning his own fleet.Even the livery is similer to Bewicks.
Yeah, their still going.
We got to some strange places, not always abroad, delivering wine to East India club in London, in a cattle truck
Stopped at home for coffee on way to Ireland via Swansea.
Loading the walk on boat in Waterford.
Some sales motors.

Yeah I did see that write up on him, don’t know where I got this idea he had finished ( old head can’t cope with old age )
But looks like he’s still about looking at Mark R’s post.

Its not exactly the best looking lorry in the world is it?.
Oh those twin wheeled tri-axles, they didn’t protest much with full whack on in a tight turn did they! The Dennison builders obviously didn’t have a sheet metal bender in the inventory but somebody must have loved them, bless. Great pics keep it up, Franky.
Looks like something the French would have turned out a few years ago.
