I’ve tried blowing it up but it loses sharpness, but I’m still almostsure its BRE.
I think 106 is BAE and 111 is BRE although that does seem a huge coincidence.
HI BUBBLEPICS , GREAT PICS !! DO YOU HAVE ANY PICS OF WBS TRUCKS ■■? , DO YOU HAVE YOUR PICS ON A WEBSITE ANYWHERE ■■ ANDY
Some great pics again Bubbs mate,
I thought it was time I through a couple into the hat.

Hi RJ,This 110 was took in the lorry park of the then Avonmouth Transportel which is now the Truckstop, next door was Leonard Stamps who had a tank wash so I would imagine the Smithers ERF was in for a swill out…the yard is now GKN palletts.I’ve a feeling the Scania was owned by Jim Alford from down your way,Pat (aniacs) might know as he probably supplied bits to Jim or he may well have dismantled her…that’ll get his grey matter working
…
Hello Bubbleman
The 110 in question was owed by Brain Haulage on contract to ACT im sure Brains brought there lorries new.If im wrong im sure Aniacs will put us right.
Regards Jacko

Bubs,
thanks for the Felgate pics, can I copy them for reference? The Volvo was one of Ernies, I do have a couple of pics of similar Volvos of his from when he worked out of Truckworld, which is when I worked for him. I will try to dig them out.
Another Wheelers,on Hilton Park services I think.
Is that BWR or BWA Bubbs? -------------------------------------------------------I only arsked
Keep digging boys. This thread is keeping up it,s high standards . A lot of the interest for me, is in the old firms. many of whom are no longer about. Also it,s the places where the pics were taken. Bringing back memories of the places where we used to park up at night, and never get bothered by the curtain cutting, diesel tealeaves who make drivers lives a misery nowadays…
Some more Turkish scrap…book photos.
A Bussing I think.
I suppose this is a KRUPP.
A Faun at Izmir docks 1994. Many Turkish trucks have " Masalah" across the front. If this means God be with us
or similar he has his work cut out. Perhaps orientmack can tell us the meaning.
Cheers Phil.

Hi,
Turkish Trucks from 80s
Mack B 61 OHS-Contex Izmir
Mack Cruiseliner Ersan International Ankara
MAN 19.281, MANAS 26.281, Scania 111 Önallar Ankara

MANAS 26.281 Rentas Antakya (Near Syria Border)
What was the craic with the red x on the n\s headlight in the LDOY comp ?
Hi,The red cross on the n/s headlight…well Suedehead I questioned a marshal at the time and his reply was when the drivers had to do the road drive section of the competition, the stewards placed at specific junctions to oversee the driving standard of the competiter could tell who was in the competition and who was not…even on a Sunday when the competition was held there was still a smattering of heavies going about their business.
This red cross seemed to be only used on the Bristol heat, the competiters number sellotaped on the front of the wagon seemed to be adaquate everywhere else.
Cheers Bubbs,
