Doh, you’ll be wringing your cap next and tugging your forelock! Forelock, I said…

Anyway, I can’t believe that you can fit also this lot in alongside painting Chateau Bubble. And how do you get away with sneaking away from the painting? If I try to sneak away on the pretext that the paint is drying, I’m given another job to do until the paint is dry :frowning:

I neve have either.

Also, there’s nothing unique about the Abbey Hill trailer, H&M from Oxford had them in 1968.

Hi Mr Bubbleman…where did you get the picture of the H.V day BMC tipper? I ve got a thread going on this site asking for information on that company so far with no replies. They had only BMC/Morris equipment some six wheelers too, even chinese six.as far as I can remember they never ran anything else. They disappeared sometime during the sixties

For Harry at Consett, just joined and catching up.
I was at BRS Darlington for 16 years, and feel we probably met,
On page 36 DM 96 NUM 110 P was transferred to Darlington when Consett closed and became DPG 118. Whilst it was a P reg our latest tin cab Seddon was LNW 649 P DPG 98.
I think NUM 110P was a test version for the 400 series cab.
Did you have a manager called Alan Potter?
As a keen photographer a had a camera in my desk abd shot most things that happened at Darlington - all are 35mm transparencies which I must learn to scan.
Hope you are enjoyning your retirment.
I am still with the same company - started with NEBRS owned by British Government now working for DHL part owned by the German Government!!

Merry Christmas Bubbleman and all - thanks again for hours of pleasure and memory jogging. Already looking forward to the New Year!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Marcus (Bubbleman)
Thanks for all the memories you have posted on the site this year.
Some great pictures which but for yourself would have been lost forever well done
