Roy Andrews and Mr Dennis would have creamed their pants if anyone could have carried 37 tonnes of Tallow :laughing:

I think the DAF may have only had a design weight of 51tonne

used to know bill and his mate harry,muffin man.geoff wilkinson was another mate of bills,they worked together at smith&robinsons.

Bubbleman, Thank you for showing the pic of Acrow’s KM Bedford. I drove for Acrows at their depot in Norman Road Greenwich, in the early 1970’s

Hiya here’s some photos i have taken when visiting Canada (10times)The sawdust truck(Blue cab) is taken nr Golden there’s 100s of them.

This flat deck is getting on the ferry fromTsawwasen to Vancouver island I know its only a flat. The first trailer is 50+ foot and the second trailer is 30ft

This is one of many snow buses that go upon the to Glacier at the Columbia ice field they have a V8 two stroke Detroit. Auto box and geared to do about
25MPH They just PURRR off up the ice. Awesome sound I go for the back seat.Guess what they’re rear engine.

May be we should have a Holiday snap theme going on as well, All of must sneak a photo when shes not looking HA HA.

Hear’s a some taken in Arica this year.

Having a good time it’s a bit hot they work you a bit hard out here.I’am staying in the shade out of the sun.

stopped for a overnight weather is hot and sunny .
This truck was dumped in Zambia it had Botswana plates.

This was the only DAF i saw i thoughtI would of seen more of them

SO whats wrong with the DAF.HA HA. I liked the Tempeture controled bit on the front it was about 90 degrees in the shade.

Sorry John,forgot you are a Daf man with your 3300,number plate slipped,gets a couple of points knocked off,for that. :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:
