Hi
This is where a staggering amount of 40s 50s 60s and some 70 trucks ended up nr Stevenage, Trucks we’ve enjoyed looking at on this site will be
in this photo rotting away, You’ll only find one f88 thats rotten, If your desperate for parts you’ll find them here but its a buisness so you’ll not get
them for nothing. Good Luck Part’s Hunting !!!
Hello again,Yep…Rush Green, britains biggest lorry graveyard, its an eye opener and very sad when you walk around, the boss of the place is not happy for anyone just turning up for a look,I was allowed in with a pal who’d spent 1000s in there.
Here we go then.
How about this for an artic.
Cheers Bubbs.
hiya,
Bubbs, I wish i’d a bob for every mile i’ve done in an identical set up as No1 of this last batch, those old Bristols would run forever and with no problems, those trailers from the Bristol works where a perfect match and made a spot-on driving outfit, if only eh.

Didn’t W.J.Sims work for Sainsburys at one time? And Baughans Frozen Foods are a blast from the past.
wj sims did the distribution for sainsburys from the pinder rd hoddeston warehouse until the late 90s,i spent many a night in on the bunk waiting to tip, they used to run well used dark blue 2300/2500 dafs.

Hi bubbs, thanks for the GGD/Littlewoods pic of the Scania 81 and 82.That pic was taken at Maltby and the 82 was the second one GGD bought, fleet 358.I drove them both when on nights, underpowered the pair of 'em .
Here’s another 81 from about the same time. And no,not guilty for the “Hendrix” scrawl on the school wall over the fence .
