Cheers Bubbs, great to see the Dolgarrog Aluminium Foden and the British Salt one too. Also the D+N Morgan of Craven Arms, Sed Atki - I had an Uncle who drove for them and photos seem very scare, so I’m well chuffed to see that one too.
Thanks again for an ever interesting stream of subjects.
All those Fodens and not a Campey to be seen. Are we slipping?
Hello,Bubbs again…trying to keep up the standard

Gavin McArdle:
Hi bubbleman, sshhh I’m skivving at the moment! The top pic showing the French truck on it’s side- I remember the incident and the company well. IIRC I was in north London on that road either when the accident happened or just after. The company ran all american trucks (whites?) and you could see their depot from the motorway near Bethune it is still there I think but a different name is operating from there -don’t know if it’s the same co.
The bottom pic is I’m sure the Monkey House near Mont Blanc (Ican’t remember the name of the village). It is by-passed now and I think the road has a weight limit.
Seeing as you are doing ‘odds & sods’ do you have apic of the KW on it’s side in Warwick Road London from the 80’s ? It was in all the mag’s at the time.
Keep up the good work Gavin
The name of the firm is now TAF or TransArtoisFrigo, that crash was the subject of an earlier thread, or tangent of, I think it was Spardo who knew about it?

bubbs could just about manage that last one, but it would have to be forklift load and tip and wouldn’t need to resurrect the old class 1.
