Hi lads, yep straight 8 I do remember the Terburg of Wilsons,Igot a proper pic of it somewhere…xkopite,I’ll keep a look out for wagons from your neck of the woods…the first one is for you.
This shot shows the driver caught red handed helping himself to the load, who’ed have thought that from a scouser!!…and theres all of us believing theres no such thing as dishonest lorry drivers!!!
looks like ADOLF HITLER…
keep them coming mate great as ever …
In the driver’s defence wasn’t it alway’s customary to ask the Forky " have you got any dent’s mate " when you were delivering to a brewery , and thank’s for some more great photo’s Marc.
Hi Marc great pics again
Here is another pic for you courtesy of Rob Rymer
Again no information except Andover written below the pic and it’s a heavy load by Wynns!!
Regards Pat
Hello again,Good pic Pat…I was begining to think you’d run out of them, well done mate. Another bunch of clippings,Scammells today, starting with a Crusader from Liverpool for xkopite…also a question ,did the next pic of a Routeman 1 of United Mollasses live in Liverpool too?
Hope these are ok
Cheers Marc.
could be the united molasses worked out of birkenhead marc…pete
Thanks Marc for pics.
I know United Mollasses where based in Liverpool.
Keep them coming.
Hi everyone,some E.R.Fs today
The last pic suggests that however handy it was to fork the load off surely you’d need a lot of space to tip and building sites never have much room plus the ground would be so uneven. Also to do it in a “B” series without an air assisted clutch must have been a nightmare
Cheers Marc.
How right you are Marc would’nt matter if you had the bestest motor with the bestest air suspension that pallet of pipes would be reduced to ■■■■■■■■ in seconds on a site
hi ya Bubbleman, that photo of the van hee erf brought some memories back, billy bowden drove that vechicle from new, tony smith drove the other one, there was only 2 erf 4 wheelers in the fleet, billy also did m/e for van hee, keep up the great work Bubbleman as these photos do bring back some happy memories

Actually Bubbleman the E6 was mine from new, my mate Bumper got this one wrong, not like him but its been a long time. I even found the original invoice for the ERF the other day when raking about in the house. I would love to say I had happy memories of this wagon but unfortunately it done me in, I just couldn’t except driving it after losing my old Transcon when the engine seized and got so disinterested I knocked lumps out of it, three daft bumps in a week so got suspended for a week but decided to go somewhere else and drive benders again with more luck, a change is as good as a rest they say.
The little ■■■■■■■ in it just wouldn’t pull your hat off and I got fed up having to keep lowering the bunk every night. Nice surprise to see the photo though as I never thought I’d see the beasty again, can’t blame her though just me, never favoured it. I wonder what the caption to the pic said as it must be from the Comm Motor, that will be me driving it probably although driver can’t be seen, looks more like I’m backing into the car behind which sounds about right! Franky.
Hello Franky,I know exactly what you went through mate…I came off a 113 Scania onto an E10 E.R.F…I always used to say to my workmates that if I ever won the lottery I’d buy the ■■■■■■ thing and set fire to it in front of the traffic office
Bubbs
