In that case, it’s highly likely that picture was taken at CDB in Belgium and the cabs are CKD kits. Thanks for that Bubbs! Robert

The Atlas Express pic reminded me of this odd clipping.0
With regard to the last pic of the 113 with “380” on the grill. I cant remember them offering a 380 on the 113 or have i lost the plot ?
![]()
From memory the 113 was 320 or 360 bhp ■■
Yep i had a 380 P229 RWR and that was a streamline topliner , well it had a higher roof than the other type
They did offer a 113 380, but not as early as the ‘G’ reg one in the pic -
Most 380’s that I recall had the Streamline 3 series cab fitted - and were later 3 series , probably ‘L’ reg and onwards.
The extra 20 horses came from the EDC (semi- electronic injector pump ), which meant that they were fitted with cruise control too.Cheers Keith
Thanks for confirming that Keith, you forget over the years as all the manufacturers are always tweaking their motor’s.

Great shots Marcus especially the one of R.D. Wardle’s ERF 4 wheeler he was always called Paul for some reason and that was his last motor up until his retirement and then Paul continued to travel to various shows with the ERF and IIRC he stopped a few years ago and changed to running about to shows in a Moggy 1000 van all painted and lettered. Pauls regular traffic for years was foundry brick from Scotland to S. Wales and then steel and other traffics ex S.Wales back up to Scotland.I believe he used to run regularly with another O/D who ran a Commer Maxiload 4 wheeler also from the Carlisle area called Jimmy Murray and I heard they could compete with the 20 tonners by splitting a load between them out of the brickworks but I also heard it rumoured they had a falling out in later years but whether it was correct I wouldn’t know. Cheers Dennis PS keep up the good work Mate !
Hiya Bubbs, remember well the Bowkers Atki, I also drove an Atki at that
time also C reg but mine only had single headlights but a 220 ■■■■■■■ it
was the top motor in the yard at that time but it never shone like the one
in your picture.
