That BRS ERF was probably Forest of Dean ( Mitcheldean ) based , it looks if that pic was shot in the town . regards Keith

Wrong again, Keith!!!
Despite there being a White Horse (or “Oss”) in Mitcheldean, that photo of Len Criddle was taken in Staunton- the one near Monmouth. The photo was discussed in the thread, “Old Forest of Dean Firms” on this forum. It must have been at least twelve months ago, so good luck finding it!
Please regard me as your “Tipp-ex Man” from now on.

some more pages from my scrapbooks, Volvo and Seddon-Atkinson. regards prattman.
Doesn’t that Whitetrux pic of an F88/9 just give you that pit-of-the-stomach ‘heading south’ feeling at the beginning of a Middle-East trip? It does me (even though I never drove an F88 further than Wisbeach from Faversham!) - I still did a bit of Middle-East! Robert

This pic is Presteigne Radnorshire, asbout 3 miles as the crow flies from where I live.Opposite the garage was a bakery/shop where the wagon is delivering. The Bedford van is the bakers delivery van.
Cheers Dave.

OK, now for today’s competition- is that Morris a Cowley, Isis or Oxford? And why?
As usual, no prizes, just an excuse for an argument! No doubt the BRS Oxford team will have ideas.

I would say its a Morris Cowley. Looks a bit small to be one of the others.
Cheers Dave.
You’ve let me down badly, Dave. I was convinced that you would have known who the owner was!

Not a Radnorshire number Casey. KBX is a Carmarthenshire number. Even though Presteigne isn’t far away. Our main town for this area is Kington, just over the border.
Cheers Dave.
Oxford I think, the Isis had rear wings and the Cowley had a smaller engine.
Pete.
All three had the same body. I would imagine the front grill should give the game away.
By the way to counter the few detractors this is my favourite thread. I especially love the old photographs and the atmosphere of a bygone age that they invoke

No, the Isis had prominent rear wings and also a longer bonnet/front wings to accomodate the six cylinder engine. I THINK that the Cowley was 1200 cc and the Oxford 1500?
Pete.
There ya go!
