If anyone’s interested, there’s a K reg Ford Cargo curtainsider being used as a shed in Bristol Fruit Market. The tax ran out last August so it’s not been static for long.
Another haulier in there are still running a Merc SK.
Yes, Muckaway now gets down to Bristol…and Bath…
Even up to Manchester.

Hi Bubbleman i have now looked at and enjoyed all 390 pages, and it has been good to look at and read but can i ask if you have any pics of atlas express motors they run a mixed bag with a lot of fords and bedfords rigids and artics plus a few others thanks and keep the pics comming and hope we can get to page 400 plus

Just to put this thread back where it belongs…

They were building a nuclear plant in Spain . These parts were being transported from a Med port. These boys used to really crack on. Forget yer 20mph! Just keep yer elbows in!!

Could be Martin but the lettering on the unit and the make of the trailer are both wrong, so I would say no.

There’s a more recent pic of this very truck somewhere on here as a fairground wagon - it’s defo the same, same axle layout, daycab and winch gubbins on the front - I think it’s on this thread somewhere but it might take while to sift though the 391(!) pages to find the bugger :laughing:
