Remember seeing that old girl in spain early 90’s many a time normally parked at Freds!
Seem to remember it went up for auction sround 1993 when Osborne got rid of her. Anyone know if she is still about?

ron osborne went bust that is why she went to auction,
i drove her and wanted her when he went bust , but its a long story why he had to send her to auction.
friday i would leave rotherham load part load at leeds , then to MK to top up ,sunday at Freds for dinner, tip monday load and back home for , turn round friday ,500 bhp lhd

Must have had dinner with ya then Turps. Went on the ■■■■ one sunday evening with the boy who drove her, i was on McKellars at the time. Don’t think we ended up in a Baghouse though!!!

Nice to see those Scania units lined up at the Atherstone Hub Bubbs, they were new to Seaham/Durham depot then we had them at Bristol depot for a while. They were certainly good compared to the Marathons & Seddon Atkinsons we had before they came to us.

Keep them coming please Bubbs and Merry Christmas to you mate.

BB

A few more, hope they’re ok. merry christmas.

As the caption says, but any guesses whos’ plant? I’d go for H.Tuckwells due to the rounded logos on the cab doors. I know Tuckwells opened up in nearby Radley in 1948 but isn’t the loading method from much earlier?

One of the late Arthur Ducketts. Tyres look as though he,s used it on the motorway.
Cheers Phil.
