Left Folkestone at 5 this morning after a 1 hour 20 queue, there was still long looking queues for train from Calais and for the boat from Dunkirk.
Yesterday due to my twittering from the front of the calais mess the Guardian, Independent, Ch5 and Sky all contacted me for interviews and picture permission (had a video sky wanted but they said “we MAY pay you for it” so they never got it!)
Tomorrow we will all be back to being daft lorry drivers who no one is interested in again.

Be interesting to see if there is a 1500l single tank available. Think it’s a fanciful story. However, am sure if I was sat there and someone starting having a go at my tank on the motorway, with the police looking on, I would at least try and do something.

Plenty tank makers out there that can make bespoke tanks sb components being one firm.
A tank on a factory spec long wheelbase 4x2 daf can hold a 1000ltr so a bespoke one wont be much bigger.
As i said anyone getting out too confront them is either brave or stupid because the immigrants have got nothing too loose and believe me you would be on the floor getting a kicking or worse stabbed before the non show french police could even show up

The wife just came up with the best idea I have seen yet, she suggested sending a squad of Ghurkha’s to France to help protect the brits in Calais and scare off the migrants! The Ghurkhas are based in Kent so it would be easy to send them over there each day.
Add one of the Scottish regiments in kilts and the wailing of bagpipes and the interlopers would be begging to go back home.

The forces will only do what they are ordered to do by the governments and as it stands those orders are all along the lines of the open door pro immigration policy and consensus of the main EU governments.So far Le Pen and her FN party and possibly UKIP seem to be the only European parties calling for re patriation/deportation of the problem.As opposed to the others just discussing the best way to deal with the issues when they’ve been allowed in.In which case nothing will change until the voting public start to differentiate ■■■■ type racism from looking after the national interest and borders.

It’s both’s ‘problem’.At present most of that problem being the result of the bleeding heart/cheap labour agenda here.
