My ferry link are on strike because as of next week they cease to exist. Fire appears to have been strike blockade might have been Imigrants tho.

Been on slip road uk side for 2 hours still not at check in booths yet dont go to next exit trying to get in round the back police have just closed adjoining slip road
Was on bbc news all train inc Eurostar not running no reason given but showed this pic and all ferries not running for ind action

PORT OF CALAIS CLOSED DUE TO INDUSTRIAL ACTION
Due to a period of industrial action in France commencing at 0350 BST on 23rd June, the Port of Calais has closed. All Ferry services to and from the Port of Dover are therefore affected, with DFDS Seaways services still running to Dunkerque as normal.
Customers are advised to contact their chosen ferry operator before travelling and consult the Port of Dover website (www.doverport.co.uk) or Twitter account (@PoD_travelnews) for the latest travel information.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely in liaison with our ferry partners and the Port of Calais in order to resume normal operations as soon as possible.
Please note that there may be delays to services when the Port of Calais re-opens.

So the road is blocked with burning tyres and now all the trucks are being broken-into by immigrants.
It looks like a war zone.
Why would anyone want to pass through Calais if it can possibly be avoided?
Makes me glad I’m on UK only these days, I don’t miss all that kind of crap. All those standing queing trucks the immigrants will think it’s their birthday.

Iv asked my employer about 20plus times about booking us a ferry from anywhere apart from calais but they insist we’ll be fine. First the immigrants now this.

Have said it for years now this is not illegal immigration it is an organised invasion of our country.
We already have the enemy within getting stronger and stronger day by day week by week and something has to be done.
How much longer can our government sit back before they finally decide to man our ports with the armed forces and search every vehicle.
They all need to be sent back immediately in handcuffs by plane sea or road to their country of origin, no messing with this political asylum crap, no arguments about so called human rights, just get them sent back immediately end off.
They would soon get fed up of trying to get here if they finished up from were they originally started from.

We’re in the mad situation of the government having wasted around 400 lives in Afghan supposedly to protect us from the so called ‘Taliban’.While ‘if’ the Taliban really want to attack us even the government admit that they’ll just be allowed to walk in across our ‘borders’ and given citizenship. 
I’ve heard from drivers that they ate moving to Rotterdam etc because they aren’t getting anywhere at Calasis.
