Scania LB110

One thing that has always puzzled me is the single orange lamp on the cab , is there any significance to that or does it signify something special?

Unless you’re asking a woman “What’s up love?” That can lead to all kinds of complications you don’t need

I agree 100%, been there done that !

Here’s something to get the old cogs going, my Dad had a day cab 110, reg no VYG 753G, anyone know where it started out its life

.

We ran an exclusive UK manufactured fleet until early '76 when we took delivery of firstly a couple of F88’s closely followed by a pair of 111’s.I believe that Brady’s may have been the first ■■■■■■■■ ( well in the broadest sense) Furness hauliers to run 110’s when they replaced the LB76’s.Brady’s got their 110’s from B & W Motors in the Midlands.Cheers Dennis.

.

I don’t suppose you have any of Brady’s LB76 pics by any chance Dennis ?

I stand corrected, never knew that Brady’s ran LB76’s I recall them having many DAF 2600’s. Bradys are ■■■■■■■■ Hauliers! I read some odd and very stupid comments from you Barrow and South ■■■■■■■■ people about Barrow not been part of ■■■■■■■■

Sorry “george” I obviously misled you,Brady’s never ran any LB76’s,and technically speaking “george” the Furness area of Lancashire didn’t become part of greater ■■■■■■■ until the boundary changes in ‘74 and Brady’s got their first 110’s in 68/69 G reg IIRC so they weren’t ■■■■■■■■ hauliers at that time strictly speaking !! So put that in thi’ pipe and smook it “george” eh! Cheers Dennis.

Yes please.

Did M Woodhouse of Lancaster also run Scania 80’s and 110’s?

Off topic but what ever vehicles did Brady’s run at this time?

IIRC MW did run a few 81’s and both 110’s and many 111’s.Cheers Dennis.
