Hello Interflur, next year bring your 141 to my yard, its 120 KM from Dover, and i will load it on my low loader with my T140 and we can go to gaydon together, from my yard to gaydon and back to my yard and it won’t cost you a cent, come to gaydon retro show as my guest.
ERF MAN, Dougie
Nice one ERF man, there you go Jorg can’t beat British Hospitality The Retro Show at Gaydon will be a good show to go with your 141, look on you tube fantastic show getting bigger every year !!
I will see you there !!
Regards Jimski
Good morning gentlemen!
I think i’m at the point of no return now.
@ERF MAN: Your offer is really kindly!
Your offer to meet at your yard is a good one.
But i prefer to drive by myself, instead of beeing “transported”
The best will be to drive in your shadow, so i have to care about nothing during the run to gaydon.
Is there a website or something else, where i could get the details about that festival (date, costs, etc.).
Am i allowed to sleep in the cab?
etc…
I will ask some friends, if they would like to come with me and bring their lorries to gaydon, too.
Please let’s keep in touch.
Best regards, Jörg
Hello Unterflur, i understand where your coming from, what about this for a plan, you meet in my yard which is only 15 minuets off the main drag, on the Saturday at 12 noon we will then all run down to gaydon (2 hours) in convoy with my T140 and R142E as well as my mates T124 and probably a few more by then, you bring some mates with you and we can have our own little international road run. just send me the registration numbers of any trucks that want to join us and i will arrange everything. it wont cost anything. its all main highway from Dover to Gaydon, we usually sleep in our cabs after a few beers and its always a great show and we can all run back together on Sunday evening. how about it?

are you gonna join our convoy Jimski?
Hi ERF MAN!
Sounds very good!
A mate and me are just finding out the prices for the ferry/tunnel.
He wants to join us with his F10.
Could you please give me the exact date for the meeting that we can book the ferry?
We gonna make a holiday for one week, including gaydon.
So there is no need to hurry for us.
First we decided to make a round trip through northern belgium and france.
But we changed to gaydon now.
Yours Jörg
Hello Jorg, next years show will be on Sunday the 15th September and we will go down on Saturday and arrive mid afternoon. i reckon we could get 20 classics to join our convoy as we have 7 trucks now for sure. your welcome to park overnight in my yard on the Friday if you want, there’s plenty of room and you may want to wash your trucks and you can use our workshop. we will look after you and your friends.
I think we got ourselves a convoy. anyone else want join us just let me know.
Hi ERF MAN!
Thank you that we are allowed to use your workshop but i hope we don’t need.
In the last years gaydon was in June, wasn’t it?
I was afraid that this could become a problem because my fellow has his marriage in the end of may.
So september is perfect.
The best will be that we plan everything else via PN, because i think this is getting too much off topic and the other users get angry.
So here is another LB from portugal:
My Torpedo and live fish trailer near the Dead Sea with first owner Mr Phitos at the wheel in the 70s, sorry about the quality of the picture
Ive got to say ERF MAN, you are a top bloke offering such services and hospitality.

hej wim very nice and familiar interior had one for 8 years inservice still on the yard ,in a sorry condision in moment, but that may give inspiration to do something, nice motor you have, regards benkku
Looks like you would have to walk across the cab to change gear unless the “second” man changed gear when the driver gave the instruction !! Cheers benkku,Bewick.

Hi,
Excuses for my late reaction. It’s nice to be here again! The gearstick is coming out of the floor at the middle of the cabin, too far away Scania noticed.
So the gearstick is bend towards the driver seat, having no problems at all changing gears.More of this truck is to find here:
