In Scandinavia paint sprayers & decorators have to have a diploma from a college before they are allowed to work for money. They are educated to know which colour goes with which.–good system!
The Scandinavians seem to take the care to integrate their liveries with the styling of the vehicle whereas, in GB, they seem more eager just to get the paint out of the gun. May need a tin hat for this one.
French used to be the worst ,some of 'em used to run around with drab matt colours straight from the factory.
Hello Harry, of course they did, a lorry was to make money with, it was cheaper not to paint it!! But then of course you have the fleets like ONATRA, Calberson, L Giraud, (Michel), Tpt Jura, Galopin, Groupe Martin, Renaud, Coupier, Chapuis ,Wilemaine, SBT Bayonnaise, dear young Norbert D, and not forgetting France is home to Les Camions decores!! But to go closer to my home, the Blues are coming, all those shiny Saviem blue camions, but that was your point, I agree!! Bon Chance. Cheerio for now.

Don’t worry,your English is understandable.A lot better than my Finnish.Only word I learnt was ‘Gipiss’ Sorry if not spelt correctly.

I was talking well before Norbert…when the Parisien busses had balconies on the back & solid rubber tyres & the Peripherique was cobbbles!

nice word in deed spells kippis but it works well in your way too
