Thats a fair ole load on the one in the last pic . . could do with some greedy boards
Some pics of WYNNS Handymans/Trunkers
Some BLUE CIRCLE Routemans
Some Routeman Wreckers
Used to work on a lot of these trucks, Shell (TeesSide) had dozens of Scammell’s,
no tilt cabs in those days so they were a bugger to work on.
Biggest nightmare — I got a half finished chassis change on a 6 wheel artic unit dumped on me when a mechanic up and quit, All the pipework off, not marked and dumped on the garage floor like a big pile of spaghetti – Arggghh !
Oh yea, the artics used to snap their chassis on a regular basis, but then again – so did AEC !
A couple of nice Trunker pics FERRYMASTERS

SORRY ALL, Ferrymaster TRUNKERS!!!
Hi, Just wondered if anyone out there in truck-land could shed any light on a Scammell used by John James transport from Lydbrook, Glos. I have a partial photo of the truck in question. Any info or maybe a better photo would be great…Cheers
Thanks Bob for this one
