Hope Dave junior doesn’t see it, he’ll want to buy it…

Stubled upon this one, does anyone know more about it?
Ah-ha! The verb ‘to stuble’: a very rare verb pertaining to ‘one who ■■■■■■■■■■ upon discovering an old lorry in a barn’. I suspect that my first experience of stublence will occur when I am shown an ERF NGC ‘European’ in a dusty barn somewhere on the Continent It will be reported in Commercial Motor that ‘Robert became stublently overwhelmed’ by the experience. Robert

Froggy, thought I’d seen the original to that model somewhere…
You’ve certainly got it right! I’m just waiting to see what the model looks like, and may then try to get it on E-Bay.

Didn’t realised you were such a…er… poetic soul Robert, and all because I’ve forgotten to include one letter… can I blame the fact that I was fully distracted when I posted those pic’s… and no, I wasn’t distracted by the wagon shown in the pic…
Fergie47:
Three old wagon and drags.
First roadtrain ever in the first pic…?
Obviously, “Tonton” didn’t like Citroën DSs
Would anyone know more about this picture? GB or US? Make of the truck?
I think the word Transportation makes it Yank , plus the crowd gathered round to see the wreck . The shape of the front says Mack to me . I wonder if he had enough Gaffer tape and T cut for a temporary fix ? Dave

Slow and steady recovery Johnny thanks . Still a bit painful in places and a bit short of breath but I’m here to feel it so I’m not complaining . Dave
Back to France 1948-55 with this batch of somewhat updated pre-WW II Renaults, operated by Transports ELDA near Amiens:
photosdecamions.com/t1631p75 … -hartog-80
The 6-wheelers are two VTD 6B, the front axle of which was moved backwards by approximatively 2 or 3 feet, making them easier to manoeuver. Initially, their engine was a 10.5 litre 90 bhp 6-cyl diesel. The tractor is a kind of mongrel built with pre-WW II Renault bits and pieces; registered in 1955.
I think the “Mighirian” Berliet in the Hachette collection will not be a GPRK but a GPR 12 like this one ,now preserved in Netherlands.
Maybe the same M. Pujos who bought a Saviem JL 20 and a R 4154 from a friend of mine in a nearby village some 10 years ago? I had arranged the deal for JF Colombet, and M. Pujos ran a metal recycling business near Bordeaux. Beautiful, this Berliet GPRK!
