A most interesting selection of smart Italian trucks! I didn’t know Autobianchi had produced trucks. Has the red F 88 lost its way? Am I wrong if i say its cab looks narrower than on the standard model, maybe a Swiss adaptation?

Aye, I believe it’s a Swiss adaptation indeed Paul, now if my memory serves me well, it has been discussed on here before, but I’m sure David (Davidoff) is able to tell you more about it.

Wasn’t there myself Herr Sutherland, send out one of my spies to cover the event…

Fergie, you’ve been spotted again cruising in your pink limo mate, singing along with The Killers… :unamused: :unamused:

Has this been posted before? Apparently they were testing what later became the AE model range…

Interesting colour scheme. Could be one for you Patrick. I’m sure it has a manual box.

Even more worse mate… try listening to some proper tunes instead… Louis Armstrong’s “We have all the time in the world” comes to mind…

Just found out that Bugatti engines were used in the train pictured… who knows more about that?

I don’t know any more than I found in a bit of a dig around. I found this very interesting.

bugatti-trust.co.uk/trains-b … ti-trains/

I remember one of these mighty Bugatti railcars was parked for years on a siding in Lodève station (50 kms North from Montpellier, France). I visited it in 1979, but its engines had been removed, and it was finally scrapped in the 1990s when they levelled the place to build the A 75 motorway. A shame to me!

As per Patrick’s request, a picture of my chariot that I brought here.

It is easy to forget how far behind us the American motor industry is. This one, a Ford Explorer, has a great engine and gearbox but Land Rover suspension. Just hope it’s as strong.
